Police arraign 2 over theft in Osogbo

The Osun State Police Command on Monday arraigned two men, Olajide Olansile and Nurudeen Adekunle, for stealing the property of one Ojerinde Idowu.

The prosecutor, Inspector Fatoba Temitope, told the court that the accused persons committed the offence at GMT area of Osogbo.

He explained that the items they stole were valued at N1.3m, adding that policemen tracked them to Kwara State and apprehended them.

They accused persons pleaded not guilty to the offence, and their lawyer, Kemi Funmilayo, prayed the court to grant them bail. 

The Magistrate, M.A. Olatunji, declined the bail application and adjourned to July 24.
