Police arraign 36-year-old man for allegedly stealing phones, cash
The Osun State Police Command yesterday arraigned a 36-year-old man, Kamaldeen Oke, over theft in Osogbo, the state capital. The Osun State Police Command yesterday arraigned a 36-year-old man, Kamaldeen Oke, over theft in Osogbo, the state capital.
The police prosecutor, Mr Abiodun Faboyinbo, alleged that Oke entered the house of Mr Tiamiyu Musefiu at Ifesowapo community, Agunbelewo area, Osogbo, and stole his phones valued at N147,500 and a cash sum of N12,000.
The accused person pleaded not guilty and his counsel, Muftau Abiodun Adediran, applied for his bail.
Fagboyinbo opposed the bail application as he noted that Oke might jump bail.
Magistrate Olusegun Ayilara granted the accused person bail in the sum of N250,000, with two sureties, and adjourned the case till February 21, 2020.
