Osun State Police Command has arranged a 37-year-old woman, Oluwatoyin Raheem in court for allegedly stealing N4.9 million in the company where she was working.
The prosecutor, Mr Mireti Wilson told the magistrate court that the accused person committed the offense on June 1, 2017 at Fakunle area in Osogbo, capital of Osun State.
Wilson explained that Oluwatoyin stole the sum of N4.9 million belonging to her employer, Wolid International Limited and that she committed offences contrary to and punishable under sections 516, 390 (6)(9) and 433 (a)(b) of the criminal code, Cap 34, Vol.11, Laws of Osun, 2002.
When the charges were read to her, the accused person pleaded not guilty to the three count charge preferred against her and her counsel, Mr Abdulsalam Abdulfatai urged the court to release her on bail.
The judge, Magistrate Olubukola Olowolagba granted the accused person bail in the sum of N4 million and two sureties in the like sum and adjourned the case to 10th of August, 2017.
