Police arraign 38-year-old man over N500,000 theft

The Osun State Police Command on Monday arraigned a 38-year-old man, Hammed Abiodun, for allegedly stealing the sum of N500,000.

The prosecutor, Inspector Kayode Adeoye, told the court that Abiodun committed the offence on March 22, 2020 at about 9.30pm along the Ikirun-Iragbiji road, Osogbo.

The defendant pleaded not guilty to the offence levelled against him.

Magistrate Abayomi Ajala granted him bail in the sum of N500,000, with two sureties, and adjourned the matter till October 9, 2020.
