The Osun State Police Command yesterday arraigned a 20-year-old man, Rasheed Hammed, at a magistrate court in Osogbo, Osun State, for alleged stealing of a pumping machine worth N20,000.

The police prosecutor, Razaq Olayiwola, told the court that the accused person stole the machine, property of Abdul Wakeel Hammed, on November 15, 2019, at the Owode-Ilesha area, Osogbo.

The accused person pleaded not guilty to the offence levelled against him by police.

His counsel, Okobe Najite, applied for the bail of the accused person in the most liberal terms, promising to make available for the trial.

Magistrate Risikat Olayemi granted the accused bail in the sum of N10,000, with one surety and adjourned the case till December 23, 2019.
