The police in Edo State have arrested 10 persons suspected to be members of a cult group.
It was gathered that the anti-kidnapping and cybercrime unit of the police command arrested the suspects on Thursday during an investigation into the kidnapping of an 11-year-old boy, Onose Friday, on July 8, at Uneme Eruna area of the state.

The suspects are Jimo Ofeoshi, Imodu Anthony, Tunde Prosper, Yusuf Bernard, Samuel Eshio Pope, Livinus Joseph, Nurudeen Amizetu, Samuel Patrick, Abu Ibrahim and Innocent Ojo.
The police spokesman in the state, Bello Kontongs, said the suspects were members of the Eiye secret cult and that they were arrested while holding a meeting in the area.
He said the suspects had confessed to being members of Eiye secret cult and a robbery syndicate which was terrorising the community.
He listed items recovered from the suspects to include a dagger, a knife and two blue berets.
