The Delta State police, in a joint operation with the Nigerian Army, have arrested 184 suspected internet fraudsters, commonly known as “Yahoo boys.”

According to Commissioner of Police Abaniwonda Olufemi, the arrests were made during a raid on the Post Housing Estate in Effurun, based on credible intelligence about internet fraud activities.

The operation led to the arrest of 33-year-old Kelvin Odini and 183 other suspects. Authorities recovered 273 laptops, 97 smartphones, one iPad, a table phone, nine laptop chargers, and two Wi-Fi routers.
