The police in Ekiti State have arrested two suspects for stealing diesel from a generating plant used in powering street lights in Ado-Ekiti.

Briefing journalists on the arrest, the command’s spokesman, DSP Sunday Abutu, said the suspects, Joseph Danjuma and Bankola Idowu, were arrested by men of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) on NTA Road while they were trying to get away with a 25-litre jerry can of diesel suspected to have been stolen from the generating set.
