Two men have been arrested for allegedly drugging and raping a 23-year-old woman in Lagos.

Police said the suspects, Razaq Oluwaseun Oke, 28, and Don-Chima George, 25, aside raping the lady also took a video recording of the woman as they raped her.

Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer  (PPRO), Chike Oti, who confirmed the incident, said the case is being handled at the Gender Section of the Lagos State Police Command.

According to him, the duo allegedly took the woman to a club on February 2 with the intention of molesting her.

“While at the club, they mixed the young woman’s drink with a substance that made her weak and almost unconscious.

“Satisfied that the drug was beginning to affect the lady, they quietly left the club with her to Dallankester Hotels in Lekki Phase one, owned by the father of one of the suspects named Don-Chima George. At the hotel, they took turns to rape her. As if that wasn’t enough, they videoed the abuse,” he said.
