Operatives of the Edo state police command have arrested two suspects, Binigolo Ebimene (25) and Mathew Denwei (27) over alleged stealing of motorcycle, phone and illegal possession of arms in the state.
It was gathered that the suspects were arrested by the police at a farming community, Malim Camp Gbelebu community in Ovia South West local government of the state.
The suspects were alleged to have robbed the victim of his motorcycle and phone at a gun point in the area.
The command’s spokesperson, CSP Moses Iyamu, said the suspects were arrested following a report by the victim of the theft of his motorcycle and phones at Malim Camp Gbelebu community. He said the suspects were arrested with a locally fabricated pistol and two headlamps as well as the motorcycle they earlier robbed from the victim.

He said investigations revealed that the suspects have been terrorising farmers and commuters in that axis of the state.
Yamu said the suspects had confessed to the crime and would be charged to court as soon as investigation was concluded.
According to him, the state commissioner of police has warned miscreants in the state to relocate from the state or face the consequences.
