Operatives of the Edo State Police Command have arrested two suspects, identified as Owakwe Chuks (37) and Bright Moses (32), who specialize in snatching motorcycles in Delta State.
The command’s spokesperson, Edafe Bright, said the suspects were arrested during a targeted operation following an intelligence report.
He noted that the suspects are notorious armed robbers who specialized in snatching motorcycles from unsuspecting members of the public within Agbor and its environs.
He listed the exhibits recovered from the suspects to include a hammer used to inflict injuries on victims, one brown face mask, one short knife, one mobile phone, and a face cap.
The spokesperson added that the suspects will be charged to court as soon as the investigation is completed.
