The police in Imo State have arrested two suspected kidnappers said to be terrorising the people of Oru East and Oru West local government areas of the state.

The Commissioner of Police for the state, Dasuki Galadanchi, said the suspects identified as Ibe Christopher, 35, and Chukwudi Chukwuka, were arrested at Awo-Ommama in the Oru East Local Government Area of the state on December 24, by men of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS) led by the commander, Geoffrey Victor.

The CP said the suspects were arrested after some of some their victims regained their freedom on December 19.
