The Police Command in Kebbi State has arrested 291 robbery, kidnap and cattle rustling suspects in various areas of the state. 

The command said the suspects were arrested during raids on criminal hideouts in various parts of the state from the beginning of July to date. 

While briefing journalists at the command headquarters in Birnin Kebbi, the Commissioner of Police, Kabiru Ibrahim, said after screening 44 of the suspects were released while six were still being investigated.

He said, “224 of the suspects have been charged to court of which 201 had been convicted and 17 of them are still awaiting trial.”
