Three suspects arrested for gang raping a girl and robbing her in Osogbo
The police in Osun State have arrested three men at Kajola area of Osogbo, the state capital, for gangraping a girl and robbing her.
The Commissioner of Police in the state, Wale Olokode, paraded the suspects: Ismaila Raheem, Eriayo Folorunsho and Akintola Sangokunle, at the police headquarters in Osogbo yesterday.
He said the suspects were members of a secret society known as Eiye Confraternity, and that they robbed their victim after gangraping her.
CP Olokode said: “This is a syndicate of armed robbers and cult members terrorising Oke-Baale area of Osogbo, Osun State.”
The CP further said the suspects were arrested upon a report by the victim that they robbed and gangraped her.
