The Police in Benue State have arrested three suspected armed robbers in Otukpo area of the state.

State Commissioner of Police, Garba Mukkadas in a statement on Thursday, noted that the suspects belonged to a gang of armed robbers numbering about four who attacked and robbed a victim at Otukpo town of his Lexus 350 car, jewellery, handset and cash sum of N280, 000 at gun point.

Mukkadas stated that the suspects; David Agbo, Olotu Joseph and Musa Ndah, all male of different addresses were arrested in the course of police investigation into the matter.

He listed items recovered from the suspects to include, one locally made pistol with four rounds of 7.62mm, one round of live ammunition and one ATM card belonging to the victim.

The commissioner added that the suspects have all confessed to committing the crime.
