Operatives of the Edo State Police Command have arrested four men for allegedly kidnapping two men, Gafar Ayantoye and Nurudeen Ilori, and holding them hostage in a hotel in the Okhoro area of Benin City.
The command’s spokesperson, Chidi Nwabuzor, explained that the suspects were arrested following credible information that two persons were abducted and held hostage.

He said the police mobilised to the scene and arrested Orobosa Ehigie (39), Eddy Amadasun (34), Chime Rowland (34) and Obina Daniel (34) and rescued the victims.
While noting that the suspects confessed to the crime, he said a truck was recovered in the process.
