Police arrest 4 robbers, recover 19 stolen vehicles

The Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS) under the Osun State Command of the Nigeria Police Force, has arrested four suspected armed robbers and recovered 19 cars from them. 

The suspects – Adeleke Timothy, Akoodu Olufemi, Kehinde Badmos and Adenle Babatunde Olusola – were paraded at the police headquarters in Osogbo by the Osun State Commissioner of Police, Mr Fimihan Adeoye. 

Twelve Toyota Camry cars, four Toyota Corolla cars, one Toyota Highlander SUV and one Nissan Sunny car, were recovered from the suspects, the CP said.

He said arms recovered from them included one locally made pistol, one live cartridge and charms. 

The CP said their arrest was prompted by the complaints by some of their victims, adding that the suspects would be arraigned in court without delay.
