The Edo State Police Command has arrested seven people for alleged involvement in illicit sale of naira notes in Benin, the Edo State capital. Parading the suspects, the Commissioner of Police, Babatunde Johnson Kokumo, said they did not only engage in the sale of currency notes but also specialised in counterfeiting naira notes.
He gave the names of the suspects as, Franklin Izukwu, Bright Mugbeyogho, Obi Alex, Elvis Iyomana, Osazee Osagede, Victoria Igbinosa and Deborah Uwa.
