Operatives of the Yobe State Police Command, in collaboration with vigilantes, have raided a kidnappers’ den, arrested two suspects, Adamu Dimdo (23) and Idi Dimdo (25), and rescued a victim in Kasda hamlet via Yauro village in Jakusko LGA, where two AK-47 rifles were also recovered.
The spokesman of the command, DSP Dungus Abdulkarim, who disclosed this to newsmen, said the victim was abducted from Basari, Zaki LGA, Bauchi State.

He added that during interrogation, the suspects confessed that the principal suspect, Babawuro Audu (45), a gun runner and mastermind of numerous kidnapping and robbery incidents in Yobe and neighbouring states was at large, adding that the command had launched a manhunt for Audu.
