Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have arrested a suspected drug dealer identified as Felix Africa (44) with eight bags of Indian hemp.
The suspect was reportedly arrested by the CP–Special Assignment Team (CP-SAT) led by ASP Julius Robinson in Sapele.
The command’s spokesperson, SP Bright Edafe, said the police, while acting on credible intelligence, on December 18, raided the suspect’s residence in the Gana area of Sapele, arrested him and seized eight bags of weeds suspected to be Indian hemp.
Edafe said the suspect admitted ownership of the exhibit and confessed to engaging in the buying and selling of Indian hemp and other illicit drugs.
