Police detectives in Lagos have arrested one Bosun Adigun, who claimed to be a member of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for his alleged involvement in a fracas that almost marred the party’s congress in Alimosho area of the state.

As at the time of his arrest, the suspect was armed with a brand new axe. He said that he went to the venue of the APC congress with axe to protect himself from any attack.

The 32-year-old man, who claimed to a customs clearing agent and a revenue collector attached to Alimosho Local Government, said that it is a common thing for members of the party in the state to protect themselves.
