The police in Anambra State have arrested two kidnappers suspected with link to the abduction of two siblings in the state.
The spokesman of the police in the state, Haruna Muhammed, disclosed in a statement, yesterday, that police detectives attached to Isiowulu Division of the command arrested the duo of Maduako Chukwuka, 23 and Michael Chukwuebuka, 22, of Anglican Lane, Nkpor in Idemili North LGA of the state for kidnapping two siblings.
He said the suspects kidnaped two kids, ages 8 and 10, both male of same parents from their school on June 3 at Odume, Obosi and hid them inside an isolated hotel in Onitsha.
He said police detectives traced the suspects to the hotel where they rescued the victims unhurt.
The spokesman said the case is still under investigation after which the suspects would be charged to court.
