The Ogun State Police Command says it has arrested a suspect, Onabanjo, over the alleged killing of Kola Adun, a resident of River Valley Estate, Ojodu, Berger.

CSP Omolola Odutola, the command’s Public Relations Officer, stated this in a statement on Tuesday in Abeokuta.

She said the suspect was linked to the gruesome killing of Mr. Kola Adun, whose decomposing body was discovered in his home at Ojodu Berger in Lagos State.

Omolola explained that the Divisional Police Officer of Ojodu Abiodun Division, on July 7, at about 1am, received a distress call from the Mabarak area in Akute. (NAN)

She said the report indicated an unusual stench emanating from a residence.

Omolola said that officers responded and proceeded immediately to Ogunmoyero Street, River Valley Estate, and entered the premises forcefully. They found the lifeless body of Adun on the first floor, bearing visible wounds.

The police spokesman added that bloodstains were also discovered at the scene, while his Toyota Camry with Reg. No. LAGOS AAA 193 GC was missing. (NAN)
