Bauchi State Police Command has arrested a 45-year-old father, Nasiru Ibrahim, for sexually assaulting his five-year-old son and another eight-year-old boy in Bauchi metropolis.
A statement signed by the Command Public Relations Officer, DSP Ahmed Mohammed Wakili, said on 18/06/2020, one Abdulkarim Jibrin, 45 years, of Zango area in Bauchi, reported at Dutsen Tanshi Police Division that, one Nasiru Ibrahim of the same address lured his five-year-old son by name Usman Abdulkarim into his room at different occasions and forcefully had anal sexual intercourse with him.”

The suspect was arrested, and he confessed to the crime.
He said the suspect also confessed to have engaged in the same affair with one Yusuf Abdulkarim, aged 8-years, and Mujahid Abdulkarim, aged 7-years of the same address.
The statement explained that preliminary investigation reveals that the suspect was found to be positive of hepatitis B.
The statement also confirmed the arrest of a rapist, 17- year-old Rilwanu Adamu, who allegedly lured a ten-year-old girl to a river in Dambam town and forcefully had sexual intercourse with her.
The statement said the suspect had confessed to the crime.
Similarly, the statement reveals, “On 21/06/2020 at about 1200hrs, one Danjuma Abdullahi of Tilden Fulani, Toro LGA, reported at the Station that on the 17/06/2020 at about 1400hrs, his wife, Abida Muhammad, of the same address, observed some abnormality from their daughter – Amina Danjuma aged 5-years, and upon inquiry, she narrated that one man took her into an uncompleted building at the same address and had carnal knowledge of her. Medical examination further revealed that the said girl was raped.”
