The police in State have arrested a robbery suspect, Bolanle Ojomu, at Ilese Ijebu in Ijebu North Local Government Area of Ogun State.

The suspect was arrested following a distress call to the police that armed robbers were terrorising residents of Silva Estate in Odomalasa area of Ilese ijebu. 

The police spokesman in the state, Abimbola Oyeyemi, on Sunday, told newsmen that following the call, they mobilised and moved to the scene and that on sighting them the hoodlums fled but one of them was arrested with the help of the members of the community.

Oyeyemi said one locally made gun and one live cartridge were recovered from the suspect.
