The police in Anambra State have arrested a vigilante operative whose accidental shot allegedly led to the death of a Disc Jockey (DJ) in Anambra State at the weekend.

Daily Trust reports that the 34-year-old DJ, Alaife Umuaku Uli, was said to have lost his life following an accidental discharge by the vigilante, identified as Chinedu Ibeanozie, in Ihiala Local Government Area of the state.

The state police spokesperson, Princess Nkiruka Nwode, yesterday said the suspect had been arrested and a pump action rifle recovered from him.

She said he would be charged to court after discreet investigation had been carried out.
