Following these demolitions, the Garki II base of one of the Catholic chapels became congested.

However, the priest then recalled the vision he had in one moment of inspiration about five years earlier as he was winding up pastoral studies in the seminary.

He had envisioned an estate in the dream, the abode of many children of God living together in harmony and sharing the love and the Grace of God as one big, happy family.

Three years ago, the reverend father made moves to translate the vision to reality. However, a hitch with the foreign insurance firm and some attitudinal lapses among those he had appointed to actualise the scheme in record time, combined to delay the project.

The police priest dissolved the team and set up another and pronto, there are parcels of land in Kurudu Phase I and an estate named “Vision Estate” situated in Lugbe along the international airport road will be ready in less than 90 days from now.

The deeds are ready as the agreements and other documents including a Performance Bond by the builders who have agreed to keep to the agreement and deliver on time and to specifications while an N100 million insurance bond by a Nigerian firm is already available as guarantee for the project.

Initially, Father Fagbohun had secured a 10-hectare parcel of land which he wanted to use as Adoration Ground at Orozo, a satellite town in the FCT.

However, an idea to give out parcels of the land at N100,000 a piece as a humanitarian gesture to assist people to acquire their own places of abode in a city where land has become like gold became imperative.

The priest therefore, had to look elsewhere and the product of that search is the Lugbe Vision Estate earlier named Vatican City with provision for green areas and religious institutes.
