Kaduna Police Command has denied the report that bandits attacked Kaduna-Abuja Highway for four consecutive days. 

It, however, confirmed two attacks which occurred on Sunday, 21st and Monday 22nd, November, 2021.

The Public Relations Officer, Jalige Mohammed, disclosed this in a statement yesterday.

He said the Kaduna Command was not unmindful of the challenges posed by bandits on the road which necessitated a periodic review of personnel and logistics deployment strategies and tactics to check the excesses of the bandits.

“The command therefore wishes to clarify that at no point in time did incidences of bandits attack took place on four consecutive days within the week along Kaduna-Abuja Road in which three persons were said to have been killed,” Mohammed said.
