The Gombe State Commissioner of Police (CP), Hayatu Usman, has welcomed the newly appointed Director of the Department of State Services (DSS) for Gombe State, Sani Abdullahi Bakori, during a courtesy visit aimed at enhancing collaboration between the two agencies.

In a statement, the spokesman of the command, ASP Buhari Abdullahi, said that CP Usman expressed appreciation to the DSS director, emphasising the importance of mutual cooperation between the police and DSS, and assured the director of the command’s continued support in maintaining effective security operations across Gombe.

The statement reads in part: “This visit is crucial as it strengthens the bond between the police and DSS in Gombe State. Both agencies are committed to working together to maintain peace and order, ensuring that the safety of residents remains a top priority.”
