The police in Ogun State have exhumed the corpses of kidnap victims from a shallow grave and arrested two suspects, Chukwuma Bartholomew and Igwe Monday, in Ijebu Igbo in Ijebu North LGA.
The victims were allegedly killed and buried after the payment of a ransom.
The spokesman of the command, Omolola Odutola, stated that the arrest of the two suspects out of a seven-man gang followed a technical-based investigation by the anti-squad team which discovered their hideout in Ijebu Igbo on June 28.

She said, “CP Alamutu Abiodun Mustapha led operatives to Ijebu Igbo where kidnap victims’ corpses were exhumed from a shallow grave.’’
