The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, on Saturday issued a 14 days removal notice to owners of exhibit cars parked in front of the different stations in the state or risk forfeiting them to the state government.
Odumosu gave this order after touring area commands and divisional police stations in the state to ascertain the state of police infrastructure in the metropolis.
The Lagos police boss, who frowned at the ruins caused by accident and exhibit vehicles parked in front of the stations, said that the command would no longer tolerate such an act.
Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, in a statement said that the state Police Command has advised the general public, particularly owners of accidented and exhibit cars or items parked at various police formations across the state to come forward for claims or risk forfeiting them to the government.
