Police honour Bauchi emir for promoting peace
The commissioner assured the Emir that the Command will continue to fulfill its expectations through sustained protection of public safety, security and enforcement of law and order
Bauchi State Police Command has conferred an award of excellence on the Emir of Bauchi, Dr Rilwamu Suleiman Adamu, for promoting peaceful existence in his domain and the state.
Bauchi State Commissioner of Police, Sylvester Abiodun Alabi, who presented the award to the emir in his palace, described the monarch as a unifying factor who has demonstrated commitment in championing the cause of peace in Bauchi.

He appealed to residents of the state emulate the royal father and continue to work with the police by reporting any suspicious movement to the command with a view to consolidate peace in the state.
Responding, the Emir of Bauchi, Dr. Rilwan Sulaiman Adamu charged the new commissioner of police to imbibe the spirit of justice in the discharged of his duty.
He also urged the people of the state to cooperate with security agents in their effort to protect lives and properties of the citizens.
