The Kaduna State Police Commissioner, Austin Iwar has invited Senator Shehu Sani (APC, Kaduna) over an alleged murder case.

Iwar in a letter to Senator Sani through the Clerk to the National Assembly, Mohammed Sani-Omolori demanded that Sani appear before him on Monday April 30.

The letter dated April 11, 2018 was copied to the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and sighted by our correspondent on Thursday night.

The letter reads: "Acting on the provisions of Section 125(6) (A) of the Kaduna State Administration of Criminal Justice Law No.6 2017, you are invited by the Kaduna State Police Command.

"This in connection with a case of criminal conspiracy and culpable homicide transferred to this office by 1 Division, Nigerian Army, Kaduna, alongside with exhibit audio CD in which your name was mentioned by the principal suspect."

He said the invitation of Sani was to enable them conclude their investigation on the matter on time.
