 Two suspected kidnappers who allegedly made a call to a woman demanding N2 million or that her two daughters will be kidnapped have been arrested by the police in Sokoto State.

Awaisu Isah (20) and Kabiru Lawal (25) were said to have called one Fatima Shehu threatening her life while demanding N2m or that otherwise, they would kidnap her daughters.

The command’s spokesperson, ASP Cordelia Nwawe, said the suspects were arrested after the victim reported the case to the police and the line they used was tracked.

Nwawe said the two suspects who were discovered to be menial workers in the woman’s house, confessed to have made the call demanding for the said amount. She added that they would soon be charged to court.
