A police source at the division said the suspects were arrested at various black spots in the area in raids that lasted one week.
The source listed the black spots to include Tipper Garage, Kuchi Bena, Charly Boy bus stop, and several club houses.
The Gwarinpa Divisional Police Officer, CSP Nuruddeen Sabo, confirmed the incident, saying that some house breaking tools were recovered from some of the suspects.
He said 15 suspects have been released after providing satisfactory explanation on their movement and identification.
He said the suspects would be prosecuted while the police would intensify raids to rid the area of criminal activities ahead of the festive periods.
He said the raids have crashed criminal activities as there were no reported cases of house breaking and theft.
