Detectives from the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a robbery suspect who’s gang specializes in attacking travelers on the Third Mainland bridge.
The suspect identified as Charles Igbodoh was arrested on Thursday by officers of Adeniji-Adele Police Division, who were on patrol of the bridge.

Police said the suspect was sighted at Ilubirin end of the bridge dispossessing motorists of their belongings.
Contacted, the State Police Public Relations Officer SP Benjamin Hundeyin, said his arrest followed constant patrol by police officers in the area.
Hundeyin said further investigation by the police led to the arrest of his receivers, one Odinaka Obiadu and Micheal Adeniyi.
“The suspects are currently assisting the police in an ongoing investigation aimed at arresting other criminal elements in the axis,” he said.
The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Abiodun Alabi, who hailed the arrest, also directed that efforts be sustained in all identified black spots in the state towards ensuring that all miscreants are apprehended.
