The Edo State Commissioner of Police (CP), Nemi Iwo, has ordered the arrest of people driving cars with tinted glasses, unregistered vehicles or with covered number plates.
Mr Iwo said the order was aimed at curbing criminality, especially kidnapping, robbery and cultism, in the state.
He said, “The general public are by this notice warned to desist from using such vehicles to avoid being arrested, because the law is a respecter of nobody, and no one will be spared.”
He appealed to the people of the state to cooperate with the police in their quest to ensure safety of lives and property, especially during the build up to the governorship election in the state.
