The police in Benue State have paraded 15 suspects for various crimes including armed robbery, kidnapping and possession of substances believed to be illegal drugs.

The Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, said the suspects were apprehended following tip off from members of the public and synergy with other sister agencies.

He listed items recovered from the suspects to include locally fabricated weapons, military uniforms, a J5 vehicle loaded with cartons of tramadol and other objects used in committing crime.

He said some of the suspects were already giving the police useful information.

The commissioner appealed to the public to continue to avail the command with information that would help it rid the society of crime.
