Ekiti State Police command has paraded 98 political thugs arrested at a military checkpoint along  Ore Junction, in Efon Alaaye Local Government of the state.

 Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Sunday Abutu, who represented the Commissioner of Police, Ekiti command, Mr. Tunde Mobayo, said they were arrested on the eve of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP’s  primary election.

 Mobayo, confirmed that the soldiers at ore junction arrested the suspected thugs with locally made pistols, cutlasses and charms.

 The CP said investigation had been concluded and that they would be charged to court for unlawful possession of arms.
