Operatives of the Edo State Command have arrested some Bureau de Change operators in Edo State.

It was gathered that the operatives stormed the Bureau de Change offices located at Erie Street, Sokponba road, and arrested several operators.

One of the operators who craved   anonymity, said they were arrested without telling them their offences.

He said more operators would have been arrested if all of them were in the office when the security operatives stormed the area. 

The Police Public Relations Officer of the command, SP Chidi Nwabuzor, when contacted, confirmed the incident in a phone interview, adding that it was in line with the federal government’s directives.
