The Delta State Police Command says it has recovered arms and ammunition from a criminals’ hideout in the state.
City & Crime reports that the spokesman of the command, DSP Bright Edafe, disclosed this to newsmen in Asaba.
Edafe said the arms and ammunition were recovered from the criminals in an uncompleted building behind NIGER-CAT Construction Company.
He said the criminals were those operating within Ekpan, Warri and environs.

He said the arms and ammunition were hidden in a bag.
He listed the items recovered to include one AR rifle, two magazines, 75 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition, one locally made cut-to-size gun, four rounds of live cartridges, one Akwa-made Beretta Pistol and one round of 9mm ammunition.
