The police in Anambra State have recovered two Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs) said to have been snatched at gun point at Ogidi and Awada, both in Anambra State.

The command’s spokesman, Haruna Mohammed, said in a statement that the Toyota RAV4 2011 model SUV was snatched from a 30-year-old man, Ekezie Somtoo, who was allegedly lured by a Facebook female friend identified as Sandra, from Awka where he lives.

Sandra was said to have lured him to a place where he was dispossessed of the car and other valuable at gun-point by her accomplices.

He added that police detectives attached to the Awada Division also recovered a Lexus 300 jeep snatched at gunpoint from one Brendam Dike, who resides at Oraifite Street, in Awada area of Onitsha metropolis.
