Police rescue 20 kidnapped victims in Edo

The police operatives in collaboration with the military and vigilantes have rescued 20 kidnapped victims in Edo State.
It was gathered that hoodlums suspected to be kidnappers on March 18, abducted 41 passengers into the bush along the Lakpese Road in Akoko-Edo LGA of the state.
It was also gathered that security team are still combing the bush to rescue other 21 victims still in the captivity.
City & Crime learnt that the hoodlums emerged from the bush, accosted the passengers’ vehicles at gun point and kidnapped the occupants.
The state police spokesperson, SP Chidi Nwabuzor, confirmed the rescued of 20 victims
