 The Nasarawa State Police Command has rescued four persons kidnapped at Angwan Mayo and Sabongida in Kokona Local Government Area of the state.

The command’s Public Relation Officer, DSP Idrisu Kennedy, told Daily Trust that following reports of the kidnap, a rescue team made of policemen and vigilante stormed the hideout of the suspects at a hill behind Angwa Mayo near the border with Kaduna State and carried out a rescue operation.

He said during the operation four victims were rescued. They are Dr Samuel Anzaku,  Obinna Maduagwu, ASP David Mathew (rtd) and Hauwa  Dahiru.
