A new Permanent Secretary has resumed duties at the Police Service Commission with a pledge to sustain the positive re-engineering of the Commission for effective discharge of its mandate.
A statement on Thursday from the spokesman of the Commission, Ikechukwu Ani said the new Permanent Secretary and Secretary to the Commission, Maurice Mbaeri, took over on Wednesday 27th February, 2019 from the Commission’s former Permanent Secretary Mr. Musa Istifanus who was redeployed to Ministry of Communications.
Ani said Mbaeri promised to do his best to sustain the wind of change in the Commission to ensure an efficient and law abiding Police Force committed to the protection of lives and properties.
