The combined team of the operatives of Delta State Police Command, youths and local vigilantes in the Oghara community in Ethiope West Local Government Area have rescued a kidnapped victim in the state.
The Public Relations Officer of the command, DSP Bright Edafe, made this known to newsmen in Asaba.
Edafe said the victim was kidnapped at the entrance to his apartment in Sapele, Sapele Local Government Area, on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at 7 pm.
He said the rescued victim was kidnapped by suspected kidnappers with a white Benz GLK with reg. No ABC-448-HC around Ogharake community in Ethiope West Local Government Area.

Edafe listed items recovered from the suspects to include a suspected stolen vehicle and 20 rounds of 7.62 Ak-47 live ammunition.
He said the victim has since been reunited with his family while a manhunt for the fleeing suspects is ongoing.
