I wish to call on the federal government of Nigeria to consider only the best persons to fill in the available vacancies during the much-touted, forthcoming police recruitment. This is the only way to protect the integrity of the force, and to avoid employing unqualified people into the system. The men and women who will wear the uniforms and serve and protect Nigerians should be selected carefully, due to the enormity of the tasks they will need to carry out.
