Abayomi Mighty formally announced that he is joining the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to run for the presidency in 2027. The timing has not gone unnoticed. Atiku himself is also part of ADC, making the sequence of events even more striking.

Across political and youth circles, speculation has grown that Abayomi Mighty may be the kind of candidate Atiku was referring to. Young, widely respected, and rapidly gaining national and diaspora attention, Abayomi Mighty represents a new political energy grounded in policy thinking, grassroots mobilisation, and Pan-African vision.
