Arrion said this yesterday in Abuja during a press briefing where he noted that the threats of political violence and communal clashes are more than terrorism.
The envoy said “Other sources of insecurity should be paid more attention to because the threat posed by political crisis and communal clash witnessed in the Middle Belt is much more than that of terrorism. And I don’t think Boko Haram is political because it is beyond political dispute.
“Political actors should pay more attention to threat pose to the society by political violence and they should commit themselves by not supporting political violence through hate speeches other things that can lead to crisis before during and after the 2015 general elections.”   
He advised Nigerians to perform their civic rights by contributing to the peace of the country through electoral education and voting peacefully.
