Polls shift: Adamawa APC decries campaign funds shortage

This is coming on the heels of elections postponement from February to March and April announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) eight days to the earlier scheduled February 14 and 28 presidential, National Assembly as well as governorship and state assemblies polls.
The hint was dropped by the Deputy Director of his campaign organisation, Abdurrahman Abba at a stakeholders meeting of APC in Yola at the weekend.
He said people on the campaign train sponsored themselves during the last campaign tour before the postponement of elections.
“Nobody contributed money for the campaign activities, but we do hear all sorts of things. Honestly, there is no donation from whoever people may think,” he said.
He noted the huge personal sacrifices being made by members of the campaign team and party members who travelled across the state despite the challenges.
He said the party is keeping record of those who invest their time and resources for adequate compensation if the party wins the election.
Abba announced that the party would embark on fresh tour of the 21 local government areas with a view to mobilising for voters.
